lawsFacilitator-JD:

  • Facilitators will research the most important community issues and will prepare material, for the awareness-raising campaigns, under the direct supervision of the project manager.  
  • Facilitate structured and non-structured psycho-social activities for women and children, according to the existing curriculum. 
  • Prepare and conduct PSS, resilient and other sessions for children and women.  
  • Provide recreational activities for both children and women. 
  • Ensure a safe, respectful environment for children, youth, and women. Where their participation and input are prioritized and where all are included without discrimination.  
  • Under the supervision of the project manager, support the referral system for most vulnerable people. 
  • Use available Toolkits and programs, to enhance and increase the resiliency of post-conflict-affected children and women.  
  • Support integrating the community in the project and creating active members, community-based peaceful conflict resolution committees will be created which will include local leaders.  
  • Conducting awareness campaigns in the community, regarding protecting from COVID-19 and the instructions needed to prevent the spreading of the virus. 
  • Planning and arranging regular special events in the center following international and national events, to strengthen community integration and participation in the center. 
  • Keep records and write reports; following the system put in place by the project manager.

  • Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • A high degree of motivation, responsibility, and confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability in compiling, organizing, and analyzing data
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced work environment
  • Highly collaborative team player
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to self-initiate areas of opportunity, make recommendations for improvement and follow up as necessary to achieve desired results
