Volunteerism: Volunteerism is generally considered an altruistic activity where an individual or group provides services for none- financial or social profit to be beneficial actor over another people or organization. Volunteering is also renowned for skill developments and is often intended to promote goodness or to improve human qualities of life. “Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.”
The Benefit of being a volunteer:
The impacts on the community, unpaid volunteers are often the clue that holds a community together. Volunteerism allows people be connected to their communities and improve it. However, being a volunteer can be a beneficial way over community and volunteer’s personality to expand their ideas. Dedicating time as a volunteer helps having new friends, expand network, and boost social skills of volunteers. Having new friends and improve their communication’s skills

Also think about what you would enjoy doing. Volunteer opportunities that match both your goals and your interests are most likely to be fun and fulfilling for you.
Humanity Volunteering Program:
Our volunteer program comprises of the followings: should complete 125 hours , volunteer will come the whole month each week , three or two times depending on the schedule that HR puts . Also there are two shifts , one in the morning which is from 09:00am to 12:00 pm and the other one is afternoon which is from 01:00pm until 05:00 pm. As a volunteer you will learn all positions in the Humanity Organization and each week one of the employees will teach you his or her work, after knowing all positions, Volunteers are better going to choose a position that they see themselves in it , they will be an assistance to a specific department this will help their CVs and give them a chance to increase their knowledge. Also volunteers will be involved in any activity or training that each employee presents.
Volunteer’s system in Humanity Organization:
Humanity organization previously was a group of volunteers, who were cooperative and supportive with refugees, IDPs and host communities without discrimination. They faced a lot of challenges in order to draw a smile on children’s face, many times they were in need for a hand to help and support them although they didn’t find that hand but they kept being encouraged and stimulated towards better and brighter future, therefore Humanity gives opportunities to volunteers and built their capacities and give them chances to be a new generation which can improve the community and add new ideas to have better community. Since 2014 until now Humanity organization is graduating volunteers (male ,female and interns ) so far we have graduated over 500 volunteers, most of them learnt how to use emails, give presentations , how to be formal and punctual during work hours, learnt about the differences between organizations and companies, and have more self-esteem. This build their self –confidence , which will let them to work sufficiently and confidently , also how to be team leader in groups and they experienced.
Working with kids, they gave activities and lessons in our centers. By that they knew how to deal with kids and knew how to protect children by policies that we gave them . They shared their experience on how Volunteerism built their skills, communication and increased their knowledge and this experience have gave them job opportunities and they recommended their friends to share their this experience .
Humanity system is the following: Firstly, a form is usually posted in the organization’s website and social media to obtain detailed information about the person filling that form. Secondly, the chosen person from that form will be invited to an interview, after the interview s/he will go under test to observe his/her skills and knowledge. After seeing the performer HR department is going to give the policies, information, and directions to the volunteer, then the volunteer will get a volunteering badge that will be worn during volunteering hours with Humanity organization.
