Humanity Organization with the support of the Lutheran World Federation (LWF) and funding from Actalliance within the (Youth Cohesion) project, which aims to promote a culture of peace and social cohesion and achieve equality and social justice between the different components in the district of Telekif through the work of workshops on social cohesion for young people of different religions and nationalities. During the training workshop, young people work together to design and implement a number of initiatives to enhance community cohesion and spread a culture of peace among the different components of the district.
The initiatives that we are carrying out during these days with the participants in the various regions of the Telkaif district are:
– Setting up awareness banners on how to prevent coronavirus in (Al-Sada, Bawiza, Srishka, Beban).
– Distributing masks and working gloves to 30 workers working in parks and central islands belonging to the municipality of Telkif district.
– (brochure) for awareness of the Coronavirus, with a sterilization stand and a group of sterilizers on each of the Alqosh district and Alqosh municipality.
– Painting the playground of the Tilkif Middle School for Boys.
Thanks to the participants in these workshops and initiatives. It is worth noting that this project is being implemented in coordination with the Center for Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution at the University of Duhok.
