Project Description
This project will enhance and strengthen the resilience, psychosocial and social cohesion wellbeing of vulnerable people living in Ninawa Governorate (Tel-kaif) under protection interventions. To address the above problems, the following approaches are proposed:
Establishment of a community-based center in Tel-kaif that will provide psychosocial support PSS, social cohesion, case management, and awareness activities to most vulnerable people of Tel-kaif. The community-based center will be a safe space for people to receive the support they need that will lead to an alternative narrative of negative coping mechanisms.
Through the community center awareness sessions will be provided by facilitators on GBV, Child protection, Mine Action, legal issues, Awareness on Covid-19 Coronavirus impact through awareness-raising and reaching people, spread key messages by using posters, leaflets, brochures, and making short videos. Also, involve parents and community through social media accounts household visits to most vulnerable people.
